NWA Equality is a regional nonprofit organization that provides programs, education, and advocacy to serve, connect, and empower the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community of Northwest Arkansas. Since 2006, NWA Equality has worked to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people through advocacy, education, health and wellness initiatives, and year-round programs and events. It has grown into one of Arkansas's most prominent LGBTQ+ organizations and a recognized statewide voice for LGBTQ+ people. Today, NWA Equality serves approximately 55,000 people annually. Its work encompasses community health and wellness, youth and family programming, social and community engagement, education and advocacy, and NWA Pride, one of the South's largest and most visible LGBTQ+ community celebrations.
